A portrait of a Miss Benziger was exhibited at the Artist’s studio, 58, West 57th Street, New York, January 12 & 13, 1892. The portrait may well have been of the artist’s friend Bruno Benziger’s sister (or a cousin) who on February 26, 1936 was visited by the artist with Bruno Benziger at the Convent of the Sacred Heart at Manhattanville and who visited Muller-Ury in California shortly after he had built his studio there.
