Pale Pink Roses in a Chinese Vase

Pink roses, perhaps Belle of Portugal, in a large green-grey vase, oil on canvas, 24” x 20”, signed lower left ‘A. Muller-Ury 1941’. This is still in the heavy carved and gilt nineteenth century copy of an eighteenth-century frame in which it was first placed in 1941.
