Charcoal on cream laid paper, 22″ x 13.1/4″ (56 cm x 33.5 cm), signed and dated upper right “Adolfo Müller 83/xii Roma”; the sheet is chipped upper right corner, there are pinholes, creases at top and tear left centre.

A Roman period academic drawing, which the artist evidently used to create an oil painting of Leda and the Swan, whose present whereabouts is unknown.
